Welcome to Romania!

Well... The photos are old but very expressive ...
All the pictures were taken just before Romania got into the European Union.
Nothing more to say ... The pictures speak for themselves.

I loose my faith in europiean community when I see this. How the countries like this could have become a part of EU?! It's an unfair politics of some of the EU liders that ensure countries like this to be a part of it since they were not ready yet.Now let them deal with that!

Tino have you ever been to Serbia?
Tino have you ever been in Romania?
I have never seen public mass toiletes in Serbia in way that is presented here. But I saw people urinate (to be precise woman) in the midle of the street in the downtown of Budapest - and that wasn't gypsy people, which I never saw in Belgrade! It is also true that many of photos present roman (gipsy) people not people from Romania. Some of them just present how inventive they could be (I don't mean photos with warming the meal), some of them are just interesting photos - like one with the girls.
Yes, I remember the 1994 when I was affraid to take room in the Continental Hotel in Temisoara, the misery they lived in, the smell that was all around.....
But they were and I'm sure still are nice people and I don't want to judge them instead to be mad on Big Asses in EU who decide who will have to be humiliated and left like a dog to wait for bone!

We who have so much are quick to judge those who have so little .... I wonder how innovative we would be if the need arose to live in poverty--many could not survive without the luxuries they are so accustomed to!
